Open Question: Possible respectable Bad Credit Loan?

I’m having some major financial difficulties at the moment. I really need a personal loan to get out of the mounds of bills I have. However, I have poor credit and most banks will not approve a personal loan for me. My wife is from the UK and has no credit in the US.

I do have a car but got it on Labor Day. Most banks have said it’s too early to offer it for a secured loan.

I don’t want a PayDay loan. I’m looking to borrow $5000-$6000 in order to pay off all my bills and bring down my large expenses to 3 a month.

Is there a respectable establishment that offers personal loans for people with bad credit or no credit? Thanks for any help! I appreciate it.

I filled out online applications from different loan companies earlier this year online to get a payday loan, but none of them went through.because the companies either wanted me to buy something or i would keep getting loan applications from several other companies,so i just said to myself forget about online payday loans.now i have this loan company that i’ve never heard of calling me stating that i defrauded them when i’ve never heard of this company.I think they might have gotten my information from when i was applying for a payday loan, but i never received a loan from any payday loan company off of online.Anyone know a way that i might could prevent this from happening again?

Open Question: I am looking to buy a motorcycle (Kawasaki 250r), but have a couple questions?

Hi, I am looking to buy a motorcycle (my first). Specifically a Kawasaki 250r. I want it new and retail is $4k. I am 18 but do have parents who could “buy” it since they have credit if you catch my drift. Im really confused and need some help on a couple things though..

-Should I get a motorcycle loan or a personal loan?
-Can you even use a personal loan for a motorcycle?
-What are the average interest rates for the better option?
-Will this increase my auto insurance for any reason?
-How long does a bike like this usually last if well maintained?
-Any information on maintenance would be great, (how often to get oil changed, how long brakes and tires last, etc..)?
-If I were to get a used one, roughly how much would it cost me to have a mechanic verify its in good shape?
-Is it worth buying a new one for $1000 more if it doesn’t have 5000 miles on it? (idk how much is too much)

Sorry for all the questions, I just want as much information as possible, thank you. =]

I have a Fannie Mae, ACS, dept of education loans, is there a way to consolidate them so I’m paying one (hopefully lower bill), a month? I have seen commercial for companies offering this, but not sure if they are reputable. I would prefer not to take a personal loan from the bank. Thank you in advance.

Open Question: Is my Mom responsible for paying my late Dad’s personal loan?

Unknown to anyone in our family, my dad took out a $30K personal loan through a major bank/credit card company 3 yrs ago. Two months ago my 80 yr old dad died. Going through his papers, my mom finds out about the loan and that my dad still owed $13K on it. My mom was in a panic about paying the monthly statement (didn’t want to mess up her credit), so I paid the $800 monthly statement. My mom called the loan company and told them my dad died, sent them a copy of the death certificate and insisted she was not aware of the loan. The loan rep said the account would go to the “estate dept” and not to pay anymore on the loan. That was month ago.
Today P&C collection company contacted my mom and demanded she pay my dad’s $13K loan asap or they will sue her for the money. They said if my mom gave them her bank routing number, they would lower the amount by $3K and she would only owe them $10K. She told them she didn’t have that kind of money available immediately (she is 78 yr old, retired, with no income, only her social security). My mom told P&C she could pay in monthly increments, but the collection agent said that was not option. The Rep said, “Give us by COB tomorrow your bank routing number so that we can withdraw the $10K, otherwise you must pay the full $13K in 30 days.”
Is this legit?? Sounds very fishy to me. The loan was only in my dad’s name. Does it still have to be paid off by my family?

The BA Degree in Business is a programme suited to me because its versatility means that the knowledge I gain can be applied to a range of careers. This is important as I wouldn’t want to be rigidly limited to one career option. I have taken Business Studies at GCSE, AS and A level because it is a subject I enjoy and I believe I can excel at.

In Year 10 I had the opportunity of taking part in a Business and Enterprise project as part of my Business course. The school provided a start up loan of £10 per person and the remit was to work with a partner to invest in and develop a business. Market research was conducted which indicated that a food stall to supplement the canteen provision would be most likely to realise a profit. My partner and I were able to run a profitable lunchtime stall. However, we soon came to understand the reality of competition in the world of business. When all the other teams also decided to run food stalls the school administration was not pleased and there ended our business. From this venture I realised I had the aptitude and skills to pursue business as a career. These traits such as accuracy and reliability will also be useful in pursuing this degree. To me personal fulfilment is very important when choosing a career. This is because my motivation would be enhanced by the satisfaction of knowing that my contribution had lead to the development of something worthwhile.

Being raised by a parent who had had a less fortunate upbringing than I, I understand the reward that can be attributed to determination. Regardless of my academic capabilities I acknowledge that in order to excel at business there are certain required characteristics. One of these is determination. This has been the key to my success so far and I will work hard to be successful in this degree.
During my first work experience as an Administrative Assistant at Blue Arrow Catering, a recruitment agency in Victoria, I was involved in filing and client research. On a daily basis many people, mostly from foreign countries, entered in the hope of finding a job. Unfortunately, many were turned away because they didn’t fit the required criteria. This was an important lesson as I realised that, unlike in school, there was no safety net or extra support. On a more positive note, the importance of good communication skills and the setting of clear objectives were very important to the jobseeker and to the agency’s aim of matching suitable candidates to available jobs. This provided a good example for me, which I have applied to my advantage in College and at work. Working as a volunteer at the Cystic Fibrosis Trust required excellent time management and flexibility as essential qualities.
All these experiences have given me a good insight into the world of work and have helped to provide the stimulus for applying for this degree. In College, I volunteered to be the representative of my Business class, which gave me a greater understanding of the importance of human resources and feedback. One of my duties was to notify Student Services of students’ concerns. For example, having inadequate room and, as a result our class has been moved into a much bigger classroom.
Having a degrees in Business will be very useful in obtaining employment and will also be important in everyday situations. The convergence between Business and our way of life attracts me to this course. The anticipated development of my critical thinking will be invaluable throughout my life as I will have to make important decisions that will need objective evaluation and attention to detail. In addition, the ability to challenge norms and contemplate risks will be useful because that is what development and competition is all about.

I am pleased to have this opportunity of furthering my education in this direction and I am looking forward to starting this programme and have the desire, determination and commitment essential to success.
