Open Question: Possible to get a loan?

I’m starting at my new job in three weeks. Until now, I haven’t even had a bank account, and I just started one. Would a British bank give me a 2.5 to 3.5 thousand-pound personal loan to cover educational expenses (A-Levels at home through OHS)?
I’m living in Russia right now, not an option

Hi, have some examples of accounting concepts. Need to know what each example falls under the accounting concepts.

ASSUMPTIONS PRINCIPLES CONSTRAINTS
A. Johns brother, jesse,, has similiar business as him, sold equipment for 27,000. equipment had cost 51000, and replacement cost of 33,000

B. business did plumbing for a customer, normally charge 600, instead got 450 cash, for the work to promote business

c. business signed lease to rent additional shop, cost 2400 per month. business will occupy the business July 1, 2007

d. jesse borrowed 4500 for personal loan, low on cash

e. jesse withdrew 6000 from the business to pay the personal loan of 4500

Open Question: Question about personal loans?

Ok, im 19, have no idea how loans work.
i just need any information about personal loans and also have a few questions.
I live with my grandma, and jobless. i know please dont give me crap about being a moocher. i cant afford college or a car.

But I am thinking about taking a personal loan. for personal interest. I need about 700.
I have a few questions about that…
I am hoping to get a job or 2 soooooon if i can bum rides from people.
which company is the most reliable?
is it possible to pay it all back like in years? or months?
is the interest rate extremely high?
is it better to get a credit card?
is a loan a good idea?

correct me if im wrongg but this is my idea on how loans work, (depending on which company)
i ask for 700 dollars right now, they put it in my bank, they ask me for like 100 dollars a month, (or hopefully lower) and i eventually pay off kind of like paying bills? can they lower the monthly bill? can it depend on how much i am making and when i will be able to pay for it fully.

i just need 700 dollars in 2 weeks but again, im jobless.
i know i will have enough money to pay it off but only for a long amount of time because jobs in my town do not pay too well. especially if i have no ride.

please tell me everything bad and good about loans. thank you

Open Question: Losing that spark in my relationship. Help?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2.5 years. We’re in our early twenties. I’m still in college figuring out things, but he has a full-time career going post college with loans. We’ve been living together for 1.5 years (no sex though for religious reasons we’re waiting for marriage). We’ve had some rough points in our relationship (unemployment, working long hours, fights, moving, long distance) and have both made some mistakes. We’ve been through a lot together, but have also experienced some wonderful memories and some very personal time together including time with family members like my grandmother with Alzheimer’s and caring for my 17-year-old cat who has a tumor.

I think this is natural, but it still bothers me that I don’t feel that same spark that I used to. Through everything, I think something was lost along the way. I sometimes look at other people my age who are dating around and worry that I stopped developing in that way when I committed to my boyfriend. I’m VERY committed and loyal and keep myself from opportunities where I may be tempted to flirt with other guys. I don’t want to put our relationship in jeopardy, but I don’t know why I feel I have to protect it so much in the first place. I wonder if that’s a bad sign or just me being insecure with my own choices.

I have been trying to love my boyfriend truly by caring for his needs and showing him love and affection which has wowed me on occasion recently because I must have stopped doing those things at some point without even realizing it. I really do love him, and I always thought I wanted to get married soon. I’m very family-oriented so that whole club scene never appealed to me. Am I having a quarter-life crisis or something? I feel like I’m missing out sometimes…

I just wonder if this is a normal thing that I’m going through or if I am still immature and thirsting for excitement still. Is this relationship pointless or can we work on this and get that spark back and build up strength that nothing can tear apart?

Open Question: University of Florida VS Florida International University?

I was accepted into UF as a transfer student( so i only have to attend for 2 years). FIU is still processing the application (probably i will pass)
The catch is that if i attend UF i will have to pay around 20k per year, i have to quit my job and still pay somehow my personal expenses(basically cellphone, gas, insurance). If i stay in Miami and attend FIU my parents will pay my school and with my job i can pay for my personal expenses . Still my dad will probably pay half of the charges of UF around 10k per year. The rest i will have to get scholarship or loans.

bottom line
FIU-DEBT FREE finance major

Or

UF-finance major
total loan needed around 20k( if i don’t receive any scholarships)

What to do?
My employer(a bank) pays up to 3k a year if i stay in FIU

If i Attend UF. i don’t think party is going to be an issue( i lived alone before)
AND yes, i want to experience something different.

Resolved Question: would it be better for my credit score if I got a personal loan to pay off my credit card debt?

My credit score is average right now, but I’ve had accounts with balances on them since I was a teen and I’m in my mid 20s now.
