Open Question: What would be good jobs or careers to apply for to save up to pay off college loans so i can re-attend college?

I had to drop out of college last year due to personal reasons and constraints. I hope to save up to re-attend as soon as possible, but I can’t afford loans and bills piling on top of each other.

My fiance, who is in a similar boat, enrolled herself in the certified nurses assistant program. It is a decent paying job with benefits, and a great start towards re-attending college.

I am considering a CNA job, and I’m going to apply to several post office job listings today, but besides those two options I don’t know where else I could turn.

I was making progress very slowly while employed at mcdonalds, so I’ve been looking for a job with at least decent pay and benefits, or a job simply with good pay.

Does anyone know of any other jobs or careers I could look into? I don’t mind whether its demanding or not, hands on or hands off, I’m going to commit myself for my goal, and being able to save up to re-attend college in less than five or ten years is what I’m concerned with.

Open Question: Can my friend sue me for signing his checks, using his credit card and opening his mail correspondence?

He asked me for help on his financial responsibilities. When his mail gets home I pick it and open it since he told me so, yet I only open up summary statements but personal letters. Additionally, I was supposed to sign (under his name) checks and send them where they are supposed to. Moreover, I used his credit card for paying things such as his car’s service and his flying tickets– everything under his authorization. All his payments are up to date(cellphone, credit cars, home loan, car loan, insurance, electricity, etc).

We had an argument and he warned me onto sue me because of that. I won’t deny the fact that I did all the things mentioned but I never abused the confidence that he put on me. I always consulted him and informed him about every single payment to be done and letter to be opened. I stress again all of this with his previous verbal consent.

My girlfriend and I are wanting to purchase our own home. Our combined annual income is about $80k. I have a $270/mo student loan payment. We have less than $5k credit card debt between us. Cars are paid for. We have no money saved for a down payment. How much do you think we would qualify for? Do we need a down payment? My credit scores are equifax-645, experian-619, transunion-581…….my husbands are around the same give or take a few points. We looked at a trailblazer and the salesman took a $200 deposit on the trailblazer and we made a deal to pick it up on Thursday with another $1800. He went thru the process of explaining options of warrantees and about what our payment will be. He never said he would call if there were any probs, just that the blazer will be ready for pick up on Thursday. He took my registration and insurance information as well as other personal information (work,residence, income,ect.) So my question is, is it a deff or should I still be wondering if I’m getting this vehicle? It comes out to be a 20,000 auto loan 350-375 a month with waranteei have a current 350 a month auto loan paid off on feb 8th. And we make about 4000 a month income with 375 a month rent.it is not a buy here pay here and again, I do not have the vehicle. I was told to pick it up on Thursday / ok so I guess I left out some information based on previous answers. I explained to the salesman prior to any paperwork that I would not have the downpayment of $2000 until wednesday. He stated that with a deposit he could still make it work and just pick up the vehicle wednesday or thursday with the rest of the downpayment. Otherwise it would have been scheduled for pickup earlier.
