Open Question: bad credit unsecured personal loan?

I am looking for an unsecured personal loan to pay off some debt. My credit score is around 450-550 which, I know, is really bad. I am not looking for a lecture on how bad my credit is. I am currently working with an agency to get my credit back on track. My credit was ruined when my ex and I were still together, I paid off his bills before mine. I am currently working on getting the debts resolved. I have a great paying job and work full time since 2006. I am not looking for a payday loan, although I know that is the most likely chance of me getting a loan. I am also not looking for a lender that will loan me money if I give them a deposit fee or insurance fee of any kind. I have been scammed before, I gave someone $800 for a $7500 loan and never received the loan nor did I ever receive my $800 plus the fees for money gram. If anyone knows of a legitimate bank or lender that can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
