Open Question: Questions about College?

I am currently a senior and I will be attending University Of Washington – Bothell soon in September. So far I have received around $15,000 in scholarships and I have an estimate from fafsa of $5000 Pell Grant and $5000 Student Loans.
1) I want to know if I will be receiving the money before school starts? If the answer is no, will I be reimbursed for book fees?
2) Does class start the day I move into my college apartment? (UWB has apartments not dorms)
3) Which is a wiser choice, taking classes in the morning or at night?
4) How different is the experience of College than High School?
5) Is it easy to make new friends?
If I don’t recieve any of my grant money or scholarship money in cash how will I pay for personal expenses such as food until then?
